News on Return to Play

It is with great pleasure that we announce the Return to Play for soccer in Valley Center. CalSouth has lifted the suspension of activities. What does this mean for our kids, and how is return to play going to happen…

CalSouth has provided a specific set of guidelines that stipulate how practice is to be conducted and protocols in which to provide as safe of an environment as possible. Our Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Managers, Board Members and Associates will attend a mandatory training session to ensure that all protocols and guidelines are adhered to.

 Recreational Soccer:

Rec is still on track to play this fall. Registration is open to get your kids enrolled. Early bird specials run through tomorrow (June 14, 2020), so don’t miss out. By fall, the current protocols and guidelines will be different than right now. We will be sure to keep parents/guardians up to date on what those will look like.

 Hurricanes Competitive Soccer:

Mandatory training is underway to provide your coaches and managers the necessary information to get the kids back out on the field. Along with that, registration is being finalized. Your coach or manager will be providing you with the necessary material about the protections for your kids during play.  We hope to have the kids back on the field in a very short amount of time.

We look forward to getting back onto the pitch and providing a safe environment for the players. Look for us at upcoming events to get more information and to register for fall recreational soccer league.

 Stay safe and play soccer!
